Kate Ryder
Kate Ryder is an American entrepreneur, journalist, and digital health executive. She is the founder and CEO of Maven Clinic, a digital health company that provides virtual care services related to fertility, maternity, and pediatrics. As an early-stage investor at venture capital firm Index Ventures, Ryder founded Maven in 2014.
Prior to founding Maven, she worked in venture capital and as a journalist, writing for The Economist from Southeast Asia, New York, and London, and for The New Yorker. In 2009, she worked with former U.S. Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson, assisting him in the process of writing his memoirs about the financial crisis.
Maven is now valued at $1.7 billion. Maven is now established in more than 175 countries, serving 2,000 employers.
