Ascona

Ascona (Ticinese: Scona [ˈʃkona]) is a municipality in the district of Locarno in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. It is on the shore of Lake Maggiore. The town is a popular tourist destination and holds the yearly Ascona Jazz Festival.
