Counterparts

Counterparts are a Canadian hardcore punk band formed in 2007 in Hamilton, Ontario, that currently consists of vocalist Brendan Murphy, guitarist and bassist Tyler Williams and Jesse Doreen, and drummer Kyle Brownlee. Their two most recent albums, released through Pure Noise Records, have received critical acclaim from Rock Sound and Exclaim! magazines. During the 2010s, alongside Hundredth and the Ghost Inside, they were a forefront act in a wave of bands merging melodic hardcore and metalcore, and are one of the leading forces in the metalcore revival wave.
