Evelyn Wanjiru

Evelyn Wanjiru Agundabweni (born 6 May 1990) is a Kenyan gospel singer, worship leader, music director, songwriter, entrepreneur and hostess of the annual event 'Praise Atmosphere.' She is also the co-founder of Bwenieve Production. Evelyn is best known for her hit songs, including 'Mungu Mkuu,' 'Celebrate,' 'Na Iwe Maombi,' 'Jehovah Elohim,' 'Waweza,' 'Utukufu,' 'Nikufahamu,' 'Asante,' and 'Tulia' (featuring Vicky Kitonga), among many others. In 2024, she expanded her creative legacy by publishing her first book, The Wait, where she chronicles her inspiring ten-year journey of hope, faith, and God’s perfect timing alongside her husband, Agundabweni Akweyu, as they awaited the blessing of a child.
