Zara Larsson
Zara Maria Larsson (Swedish: [ˈsɑ̂ːra ˈlɑ̌ːʂɔn] ; born 16 December 1997) is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She first rose to prominence in 2008 after winning the second season of Talang, the Swedish version of the Got Talent format. She later attained international recognition with singles including "Lush Life" (2015), "Never Forget You" (2015), "Symphony" (2017), and "Ruin My Life" (2018).
In 2012, Larsson signed with the record label TEN Music Group and subsequently released her debut extended play, Introducing, in January 2013. The EP was supported by Larsson's first original single, "Uncover", which charted at number one in Sweden and Norway, being certified 6× Platinum in the former. Her debut studio album, 1, saw a limited release in Sweden, Denmark and Norway in 2014, and contains the Swedish top-ten singles "Carry You Home" and "Rooftop".
After her success in Scandinavia, Larsson signed a three-year contract with Epic Records in the United States. Her debut international album and second overall, So Good, was released in March 2017. It became her second number one album in Sweden, while charting in the top ten in multiple other countries, and at number 26 on the US Billboard 200. The album contains the commercially successful singles "Lush Life", "Never Forget You" (with MNEK), "Ain't My Fault", "I Would Like", and "So Good". Larsson's third studio album, Poster Girl, followed in March 2021, and includes the singles "Ruin My Life", "Love Me Land", and "Wow".
In June 2022, Larsson left TEN Music Group and acquired her music catalog. In February 2024, she released her fourth studio album, Venus, under Epic Records and her own label, Sommer House. The album includes the singles "Can't Tame Her" and "On My Love", the latter a collaboration with DJ David Guetta. Larsson's fifth studio album, Midnight Sun, was released on 26 September 2025 to widespread critical acclaim. Its title track earned Larsson her first Grammy Award nomination for Best Dance Pop Recording.
