Harold Medina

Harold Raymond Medina (February 16, 1888 – March 14, 1990) was a United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and previously was a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Medina is perhaps most well-remembered for presiding over the Smith Act trials of Communist Party leaders in 1949.
