K.O.P
King of Prussia, sometimes abbreviated to K.O.P., is a census-designated place in Upper Merion Township in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. The community took its unusual name in the 18th century from a local tavern named the King of Prussia Inn, which was named after King Frederick the Great of Prussia. As of the 2020 census, its population was 24,695.
Located 35 miles (56 km) south of Allentown and approximately 15 miles (24 km) northwest of Philadelphia, King of Prussia is considered to be an edge city of Philadelphia and part of the larger Philadelphia metropolitan area. It is situated at the convergence of four highways and consists of large amounts of retail and office space, with one of the highest concentrations of hotels, businesses, residences, and entertainment venues in Pennsylvania.
King of Prussia is best known for its eponymous mall, the fourth-largest shopping mall in the U.S. It also hosts the headquarters of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Region I and American Baptist Churches USA.
