Mantra
Mantra is a Nepali rock band known for their contribution to Nepali music. Mantra originated in Darjeeling in the early 2000s. They are one of the well-known musical bands in Nepal. Some of their songs include Sadhai Sadhai, Himali Nepali, and Sanskriti, all of which were released in the early 2000s. Except for "Guiding Light," "X-Generation," and "Himali Nepali," all songs from the first three albums were written by Dr. Sudarsan Tamang, an assistant professor at Sikkim University. The lyrics of "Bir Gorkhali" were co-written by Dr. Tamang and Binoy Dewan, while "Himali Nepali" was penned by Karma Yonjan.
