Featuring eight songs, the album received critical reception from multiple publications, including Metacritic, AllMusic, Pitchfork. The album is a follow up to 2019's Utility. The album charted and peaked at number 15, 17, and 41 on different charts. The album was supported by only one single, "Reframing".
