Butch Willis & The Rocks

Butch Willis is an American musician signed to TeenBeat Records. His recordings were first released on his own private record label, Love Records, in the 1980s and then on TeenBeat Records in the 1990s through to the present. TeenBeat has also reissued various releases originally issued on Love Records. Willis' releases are often credited to Butch Willis & The Rocks and Butch Willis & D Flat. Willis has often been compared to other artists with cult followings such as Roky Erikson of the 13th Floor Elevators and Daniel Johnston. His musical style is broadly referred to as outsider art or art brut. Specifically, his music is a mixture of classic rock, new wave, and rockabilly.
