Gill Raunta

Gill Raunta, the Indian Punjabi lyricist, screenwriter, musician and actor was born on 1 January 1991 in the village of Raunta in the Moga district of Punjab, India. Gill Raunta sometimes credited as Gurwinder Singh Gill. Since the end of the 2010s, Gill Raunta and his work have been acquiring an increasing influence on Punjabi cinema and music. He gained recognition in the late 2010s for his work in Punjabi films and music, contributing lyrics, dialogue and screenplays. Raunta is noted for his writing in the films Kaka Ji (2019) and Yes I Am Student (2021) and has collaborated with numerous Punjabi artists across genres. He is also the co-founder of Gill Raunta Productions and the author of the travelogue Hello, Main Lahore ton Bolda.
