Scott Perry

Scott Gordon Perry (born May 27, 1962) is an American politician and retired Army National Guard brigadier general who is the U.S. representative for Pennsylvania's 10th congressional district, serving since 2013. The district, numbered as Pennsylvania's 4th congressional district from 2013 to 2019, is centered around Harrisburg, York, and most of their inner suburbs in Dauphin, Cumberland, and York counties. Perry is a member of the Republican Party. In November 2021 Perry was elected chair of the House Freedom Caucus, the most conservative House Republican group, and served through 2023. Perry participated in attempts to overturn the 2020 United States presidential election, including by attempting to replace Pennsylvania's slate of electors.
