Mirco Magnani
Mirco Magnani (born May 16, 1961, Pistoia, Italy) is an Italian artist who has been active since the mid-'80s. His work as a composer, producer and video artist has focused on the exploration of innovative sounds and experimental aesthetics. Throughout his career, Magnani has founded and collaborated on projects spanning various genres, including new wave music, ambient music, experimental music and neoclassical music, while consistently seeking to expand the boundaries of traditional production.
After more than twenty years of experience in Italy, Magnani moved to Berlin, a hub for electronic music and underground culture, where he further developed his musical style. In Berlin, he continued to perform at various festivals and clubs, collaborating with numerous artists in the underground music scene.
He has created interdisciplinary experiences that merge sound, video and literature, moving beyond conventional music. His projects often involve interactive installations and live audiovisual performances.
Magnani's music has evolved over time through numerous solo projects and international collaborations. His albums, including Madame E., Cronovisione Italiana and Zarathustra – Der Große Mittag, reflect his ongoing exploration of philosophical and cultural themes through sound.
